Transformation has been the defining theme of my 25-year professional career, marked by a breadth of experience across the financial, technology, and non-profit sectors. From consumer finance at American Express (AXP), the institutional clients group at Citigroup (C) and to private equity and asset management at Apollo Global Management (APO), I've navigated diverse challenges and functions in over a dozen roles in local, regional and global capacities in the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
This foundation led me to begin a transformative two-year realignment of my strengths and values with my future career goals. During this time, I relocated to Europe, explored over sixty cities in eleven countries, and immersed myself in new cultures and perspectives. This self-development time focused on digital technologies, AI, and the future of work. This immersive experience has profoundly reshaped my perspective and ignited new passions.
As a Co-Founder of ROMA Mastermind, I help executives transitioning from corporate to entrepreneurship to build and grow their businesses in diverse industries through masterclasses, tools, coaching and a private community of entrepreneurs in the US and the UK.
As Advisor at Womenful Voice, Highmoon Capital, and Spring Labs, I contribute to advancements in women's empowerment, generative AI behavioral investing, and data privacy & cybersecurity.
As a Founding Member of Thirty Madison Ventures, I support and guide a network of category-leading entrepreneurs on the business applications of generative AI.
As the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at the Hedge Fund & Family Office Advisory Practice at Arootah Alternative Investment, I provide advisory services on operations management, strategy and corporate finance in the alternative asset management industry.
My educational background, spanning Harvard (US), MIT (US), Cambridge (UK), ISEG (Portugal), and ESPM (Brazil), reflects my continuous learning journey. This journey, much like my career, has been enriched by my Brazilian-American heritage and Portuguese residency and fluency in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and Italian.
